2014 Timed Releases in Development
2013 TIMED RELEASES
Occasionally breweries will bring a very limited quantity of some of their special beers to the festival—beers that are rare and/or from a limited production batch—so that some of the attendees can get the opportunity to try a sample. Due to this limited supply, these special beers will only be poured at designated times on a first-come, first-served basis. The schedule of timed releases is below. Be sure to arrive at the respective tables early to ensure you get a taste of these brews!
Session 1

|
1:00pm - Special Cask TBD |

|
2:00pm - Bourbon County Stout
Brewed in honor of the 1000th batch at our original Clybourn brewpub. A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel. The nose is an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. One sip has more flavor than your average case of beer. |

|
2:30pm - Super Dry Hopped Massive IPA w/ Condzella Hops |

|
3:00pm - Harpoon 100 Barrel Series #45 Director’s Cut
With a malty sweetness, subtle hops and a hint of smoke, this beer blends two distinct styles, Pale Ale and Stout, to make one phenomenal beer.

|
7:30pm - Big John Imperial Stout
Inspired by the epic skyline of Chicago, Goose Island’s brewers set out to craft Big John; a tall, bold slugger of a stout that stands out vividly against the little soft beers out there. Epic amounts of roasted malt and an addition of cacao nibs give Big John a massive chocolate flavor and aroma. With a body as substantial and black as the building to which it pays homage, Big John is sure to inspire a sense of awe with every sip. |
